These images will be included in the book, “TRIUMPHS IN OUR COMMUNITIES: Four Decades of Chicano Art” to be released in April 2005 and will include Latino Pop Shop’s first Art History book inclusion as a legitimate entity / movement which also includes the Latino Pop Art movement and group of artists.

All of the pieces will debut at the Cultural Arts Center in Scotsdale, Arizona in April 2005. The four artists (Héctor Silva, Eduardo Ugalde, Antonio Rael, and Emilia García) were all featured in Adelante Magazine in the Latino Pop Shop Art Section which allowed us to have the courage to represent the LGBT Community and get rid of stereotypes that exist within our communities. |
