TRAYECTORIA
Nacido en Wyoming, Jesse tiene 24 años de edad y es un actor. Después de
estudiar actuación en Atlanta por unos cuantos años, se mudó a Los Angeles
hace tres años para comenzar una carrera en el cine. Le gusta actuar
porque esto le permite expresarse libremente, viajar, divertirse y ser
creativo. Jesse es uno de los personajes principales en la nueva película
Quinceañera, donde hace el papel de un pandillero latino explorando su
sexualidad gay por primera vez. Siendo heterosexual, fue muy positivo para
él este papel de hombre gay porque le da la oportunidad de “tumbar puertas
y estereotipos negativos” de lo que es ser latino. Filmar Quinceañera
resultó una “gran experiencia” y le permitió personificar a un latino en
un modo positivo.
PASATIEMPOS
Aparte de actuar en películas, televisión y teatro, Jesse disfruta el
boxeo, hacer ejercicios cardiobasculares, y los reptiles, como sus dos
“dragones barbados”. Dentro de diez años le gustaría dirigir, producir y
escribir sus propios guiones cinematográficos, como una comedia de humor
negro o una película de terror por ejemplo.
RELACIONES
Actualmente está saliendo con una muchacha a quien describe como “muy
buena onda” y “de mente abierta.” Dice que “ella es mi mejor amiga."
LE GUSTA
A Jesse le gusta relajarse en la playa, leer (títulos como Harry Potter,
El Código Da Vinci, y biografías de actores). También le gusta visitar las
tiendas de mascotas y ver los diferentes tipos de animales. También
disfruta cocinar fajitas de pescado y pancakes con platano y arándano
(blueberry).
LE DISGUSTA
No le gustan los pequeños insectos, la gente que no muestra compasión, y
detesta cuando la gente mete un dedo en la crema de cacahuate.

BACKGROUND
Born in Wyoming, Jesse is a 24-year-old up and coming actor. After
studying acting in Atlanta for a few years, he moved to Los Angeles three
years ago to pursue a career in film. He enjoys acting because it gives
him a means to express himself, travel, have fun and be creative. Jesse is
one of the leads in the new movie Quinceañera, where he plays the role of
a Latino gangster exploring his gay sexuality for the first time. As a
straight man, he “really embraced” the gay role because it gave him a
chance to “break down doors and negative stereotypes” of what a Latino is.
Filming Quinceañera was “a great time” and allowed him to portray Latinos
in a positive light.
HOBBIES
Besides acting in film, television and stage, Jesse enjoys kickboxing,
cardio exercise, and reptiles, such as his two bearded dragons. Ten years
from now he would like to direct, produce and write his own films, like a
dark comedy or a horror film for example.
DATING
He’s currently dating a woman whom he describes as “cool” and “open.” He
says, “She’s my best friend."
LIKES
Jesse likes relaxing at the beach, reading (such as Harry Potter, The Da
Vinci Code, and biographies of actors). He also likes going to pet stores
and looking at different animals. He also enjoys cooking fish fajitas and
banana blueberry vegan pancakes.
DISLIKES
He dislikes litter bugs, people who lack compassion, and he hates it when
people stick their finger in the peanut butter.
