Completely self taught, Ramon has a natural, gifted talent and a distinct style that is purely evident in all of his paintings. Flowing compositions of rich colors and deeply saturated hues mingle and intertwine in each of these fascinating works by Ramón. He takes spontaneous control of each abstract work and strategically manipulates his own expressionism, bringing to the art world, a powerful new style that is wildly sensational and intriguing.

Born in Panamá and raised in a small beach community, known as Boca La Caja, Ramón and his twin brother Roberto would explore the coast during low tide. As it went far out into the ocean exposing a myriad of tide pools, sand banks and large rocks, this natural and unique seascape with its transforming color schemes would later become a profound inspiration behind many of Ramon’s paintings.

The tragic death of Ramon’s twin brother in 1995 spawned a very deep and introspective period in the artist’s life that ultimately resulted in a soulful desire to create art, not only as a form of therapy, painting would later become the subconscious link for Ramon’s communication with his identical twin’s spirit.

To this day, Ramon continues to unveil marvelous compositions on both canvas and paper, original works of distinct abstraction that are inspired by the greatest artists of the twentieth century, from Pollock to Picasso and Sam Francis to Miro, this list of artists is endless… the result is profound.
